Installation on external server

This topic is regarding installation/restoration of a BlueOcean backed up website on an external server.

BlueOcean provides fine-tuned webhosting for our customers, however you have chosen to opt-out and/or have decided to move away and will be using your own servers. This video will showcase the basics on how to install the website archive that we provide on an external server.

Some requirements:

• Server must run at least PHP 8.x
• Server must have MySQL 5.7 or higher (or MariaDB)
• Apache or Nginx server
• An empty database with database user and password must be prepared before installation
• JPA website archive(s) (BlueOcean will provide download link)
• Akeeba Kickstart files -kickstart-core-8.0.6.zip (or newer)
